A Most Memorable Trip

    When I hear about the most memorable trip, I remember when I traveled to Cuzco. My family and I were to visited Machu Picchu and other tourist places. We traveled in February on 2010. It was a trip of vacation. At first, I thought it would be a simple trip and I was boring about this decision of my family. But, In Cusco, I could visit and know more about Inca culture. For a lot of reasons, this trip is one of the events I remember a lot.

    Traveling to a different place was awesome. It happened on February 2010. I finished my school class successfully, and my family and I traveled to Cusco to spend our second month of vacation. First, I did not carried with me a lot of clothes. We traveled to Cusco by airplane. Then, when I arrived, I notice that the weather was different, it was raining. After that, we stayed in a hotel near the plaza of Cusco. That day, my father told me that tomorrow we are going to visit Machu Picchu. The next day, I woke up and take my breakfast. Then, we go to visit Macchu Picchu, one of the seven wonders in the world. I could see that it was like a three big mountains made by rocks. And I was thinking how Inca people could build it. I took many pictures; I was amazed by knowing this place. It was the second day, and I knew that the following days would be better.

    At that time, I wanted to continue visiting more places. Next day, I visited Saksaywaman which is a walled complex on the northern outskirts of the city of Cusco. Like many Inca constructions, the complex is made of large polished dry stone walls, with boulders.  In the last days, I visited the cathedral and buy a book that was written in Quechua. Finally, I decided to buy some souvenirs and I went to barrio San Blas. I could visited many places, but also I ate some typical dishes. But, I remembered a dish that I disliked a lot, it was roasted guinea pig. It was a dish that seemed like a rat. Although, I ate that dish and my mouth smelled strange, I was not sad because I knew that I spent a good vacation.  It was an amazing trip.

    Although at first I did not agree with the trip, I could enjoy the most. It was a trip because it memorable more known places of my country and a little bit of their culture. Besides, I could know that I must not think that all will be bad before I go there. It also relates to the personality of the people.
